Prudential’s Essential Child Plus covers child-specific illnesses with a lump sum payment upon diagnosis and unique conditions like asthma, and epilepsy with payouts. You will be able to use the payouts for doctor’s consultation, medication, hospitalisation and other illness-related expenses to ensure your child’s health needs are adequately addressed.
Who is eligible for this rider?
The plan needs to start when the child is between 1 to 15 years of age if after birth, or after 13 weeks into pregnancy if before birth. The coverage will last until the child is 25 years old.
Can I purchase this rider as a standalone health insurance policy for my children?
No, this critical illness rider for children is designed to complement an existing health insurance policy. It cannot be purchased as a standalone policy and must be attached to PRUWith You.
